You object because:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>you&#8217;ve already reached a perfectly sensible agreement between you, or<\/li>\n<li>you want your business, inheritance or pension left out of the settlement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There&#8217;s a lot\u00a0at stake so make sure you get\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.just-family-law.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">expert legal advice<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Why is financial disclosure requested<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>You&#8217;ll only know you&#8217;re getting a fair share\u00a0of the matrimonial income and assets if you\u00a0understand their extent. Your ex&#8217;s solicitor will be advising your ex the same. However this doesn&#8217;t mean your ex automatically gets a share of everything.
